An award winning director, Jordan Bayne has most recently directed Academy Award Winner Melissa Leo [The Fighter] in her forthcoming short film THE SEA IS ALL I KNOW .
Her first short film ARGO played in festivals around the world and garnered several awards including Best Film and Best Director.
As an actor she has worked with Emmy and Golden Globe Winner Martin Sheen, not once but twice. Her television career started with Showtime's POLTERGEIST-THE LEGACY and she has also been seen on the critically acclaimed LAW & ORDER. Her first role in the theatre landed her onstage with Emmy and Golden Globe Winner James Gandolfini and Academy Award Winner Marisa Tomei in the Naked Angels production of SUMMER WINDS. Jordan had an award nominated turn in the independent film UNDER HELLGATE BRIDGE with Dominick Chianese and Vincent Pastore where one critic noted, "Jordan Bayne proves that true strength lies in vulnerability."
Jordan studied acting with Susan Batson and taught at the Black Nexxus/Susan Batson Studio. As a teacher and an acting coach she has been called "the soul reader" for her uncanny ability to see into the depths of people.
Jordan has projects in various stages of development, including feature films, webseries, screenplays, screening series and magazines.
