Director Stuart Gillard

Poltergeist Legacy
The Legacy is a secret and ancient society known only to its members whose journey it is to fight the evil powers in this world and others. Showtime’s Poltergeist: The Legacy offers a dark, moody, beautifully shot, cultish, sometimes campy movie, with a series to follow. Created by Richard B. Lewis of Trilogy Entertainment, it stars Derek DeLint as the psycho-sensitive leader, Robbi Chong as his brilliant researcher, Patrick Fitzgerald as the spiritual advisor, Martin Cummins as the action hero, Jordan Bayne as the intelligent, highly-trained computer researcher, and Helen Shaver, the accomplished psychiatrist.

In the pilot movie, The Legacy investigates the long awaited discovery of an ancient sepulcher in Ireland. They soon discover that a destructive force lurks within the sepulcher longing to be set free, and wreaks havoc on anyone who comes into contact with it. Unfortunately for us, we suffer the untimely loss of Julia Walker (Bayne), of whom we would have liked to see more. Poltergeist: The Legacy delivers the paranormal in a fun and stylish way.***(out of four).
